Dollie Pizzo

     Dollie J. Pizzo, 97, of Carmi passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in Carmi. She was born in Tower Hill, IL on May 1, 1928 the daughter of Jesse Lee and Carrie Lela (Nance) Ethridge. Dollie married George Pizzo on October 12, 1973 and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1986. She had worked as a cook in the restaurant industry.

     Dollie is survived by her 9 grandchildren, Melissa Baker, Jesse Carrell, Mykayla Baker, Rebecca Hughes, Roberta Alexander, Samantha Hendrian, Charles Baker, Johnny Baker and Aaron Baker, 3 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her six children, Charles Baker, Margaret Harmston, Jesse Baker, Virginia Northcraft, Donald Baker and Johnny Baker, seven siblings, 2 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 1 step son, 1 great grandchild, and 3 step grandchildren.

     At Dollie's request no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821 to assist the family with expenses.
