Coy David
July 4, 1961 — March 4, 2012
Coy L. David, 50, of Carmi passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 11:12 pm at his residence. Coy was born July 4, 1961 in Santa Fe, TX the son of Fred and Juliene (Sauls) David. He had worked at a deck hand at Mt. Vernon Barge and was veteran serving four years in the U.S. Navy and two in the U.S. Army. Coy was a member of Enfield General Baptist Church.
Coy is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael A. and Carla David of Garner, NC and Charlie G. David of Carmi; his parents, Fred and Juliene David of Santa Fe, TX; his significant other, Emilie Foster of Carmi; two brothers, Fred David, Jr. and Ronnie David both of Santa Fe, TX; two grandchildren, Makalya and Andrew David; a sister-in-law, Elaine Foster of Carmi; four nephews and five nieces and his dog, Max.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy David and his mother-in-law, Alberta Foster.
Arrangements are pending at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
