Charles W. Hansman, 73, of Carmi passed away, Friday, March 9, 2012 at 3:53pm at his residence. He was born April 19, 1938 in Centerville, IL the son of Harold Oliver and Dora (Gates) Hansman. Charles married Eunice Kay McCullough on October 25, 1961. For 24 years, he had worked as a truck driver for Bryant Farms.
Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kay of Carmi; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lora and Peter Carlson of Clarkdale, AZ and Diana Fay and Larry Taylor of Inverness, FL; a son, Bill Hansman of Carmi; a sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Gene Usery of Carmi; three grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Taylor, Brett Andrew Hansman and Seth Wayne Stanley; a brother-in-law, Ralph Jordan of Carmi; a sister-in-law, Jenny deDoming of Mt. Vernon, IN and special friends, Brian and Larry Bryant.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Hansman and a sister, Wilma Jordan.
Funeral Services for Charles W. Hansman, 73, of Carmi will be Monday, March 12, 2012 at 5:00 pm at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
