Charles Olin Garrett, 80, of Enfield, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at his residence. He was born March 12, 1935 in Mill Shoals Township, Illinois, the son of Edwin and Goldie Isabel (Bradford) Garrett. Olin married Beatrice Williams on November 5, 1953. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Olin had worked for Caterpillar for 18 years before moving back to Enfield, where he farmed. He was a member of Ashland Christian Church in Mill Shoals, Enfield Masonic Lodge #677, the Carmi Country Club and was a former trustee for the Enfield Fire District. Olin was a dedicated and faithful family man whose love and concern went beyond his immediate family.
