Carl Richard Cushman

     Carl Richard Cushman, 91, of Enfield, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. He was born on July 9, 1931, the son of George Harlan and Mary Leona (Wright) Cushman.  He married Reba L. Crawford on October 20, 1952, and she survives.  Carl graduated from Enfield High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard.  Carl worked at Williams Enterprises for many years as a Route Collector.  He was a member of the Enfield Christian Church, the American Legion, and the VFW. Carl enjoyed reading, mowing, yard work, and most of all, spending time with his family.

     In addition to his wife, Reba Cushman, Carl is survived by his children, David (Stephanie) Cushman of Evansville, IN, and Carla Cushman of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Caleb (Christina) Cushman, Tyler (Carson) Cushman, Kyley (Audree) Nelson, Amelia (Zach) Santos, Ryan (Bri) Schenkel, and Makayla Schenkel; great-grandchildren, Maria, Noah, Nicholas and baby Schenkel on the way; siblings, Charles (Anita) Cushman, Shirley Carter, Joyce Smith and Dorothy South. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Joyce Smith, June Rister, Norma Etienne, Larry Cushman and infant brother and sister.

     Graveside funeral services and burial for Carl Cushman will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Enfield Cemetery with full military rites by Carmi VFW and American Legion. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Stendeback Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
