Betty Bowles

Betty Jane Bowles, 84, of Enfield, passed away at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Wabash Christian Village. She was born in Norris City on March 26, 1934 the daughter of William Dexter and Nellie (Bryant) Aud. Betty married Kelly James "Mack" Bowles, Sr. on February 12, 1955 and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of Ditney Ridge Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Nella (Richard) Ritcheson, of New Haven; son, Danny (Karen) Bowles, of Enfield; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Darrell Lee and Kelly Bowles, three brothers, William, Eugene and Hubert Aud and two sisters, Elsie Brown and Hazel Folk.

Funeral services for Betty Jane Bowles, 84, of Enfield, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Plainview General Baptist Church in Norris City with Pastor Chris Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at  10:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Plainview General Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's memory to Wabash Christian Village and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
