Amy (Eck) Ellison, 33, of Springerton, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 9:05 a.m. at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born May 24, 1980 in Harrisburg, IL, the daughter of Daniel Lee and Tina Roxane (McGhee) Eck. Amy was a 1998 graduate of N.C.O.E. High School.
She is survived by her parents, Dan and Roxane Eck of Springerton; paternal grandparents, Dorothy Eck of Norris City and Willard Eck of Grayville; a son, Wyatt Ellison of Springerton; a sister and brother-in-law, Danielle and Heath Short of Carmi; a brother and sister-in-law, Ryan and Lacy Eck of Springerton; a niece, Gabby Short; three nephews, Aydan Allen, Brier and Blane Eck; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Carolyn McGhee.
Funeral services for Amy (Eck) Ellison, 33, of Springerton, will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Rev. Josh Slater officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery near Broughton. Friends may call on Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
