Alvin III

Alvin Earl Matthews III, 28, of Mt. Vernon, IN died, Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at his home. He was born December 5, 1978 in Evansville, IN. Earl enjoyed collecting Indian artifacts and loved to camp and fish. He was a Prep-Cook at the Heusler Inn and had worked in construction. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy Bridges and George and Connie Osborne.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Cindy Lou (Bridges) and Alan Osborne of Mt. Vernon, IN; sister, Carrie Osborne of Evansville, IN, his grandmother, Anna Lou Bridges of Mt. Vernon and his dearest friend, Valerie Seifert of Mt.Vernon.
Funeral services will be Private at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth Street, Mt. Vernon, IN with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Posey County Humane Society, 6500 Leonard Rd., Mt. Vernon, IN 47620
