Nancy Mason

Nancy Evelyn Mason, age 94, formerly of White County, IL, passed away peacefully at her home in Warner Robins, Georgia on Thursday, March 10, 2022.  She was born on December 24, 1927 in White County, the daughter of Daniel and Veda (Daniel) Frashier.  She graduated from Carmi High School in 1945. Following graduation, she married the love of her life, Morris Duncan Mason. She was a devoted wife, sister, and aunt; a talented crafter and gardener; and a good friend to all.

She is survived by her niece and nephew-in-law, Terry and Lloyd Reed, of Annandale, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Morris Duncan Mason; her brother Edgar Frashier, her brother Corbet Frashier and sister-in-law, Nelia (Huff) Frashier; her sister, Voneda (Frashier) Sexauer and brother-in-law, Guy Warren Sexauer; and her parents.

Graveside services for Nancy Mason will be held at 2:00 p.m, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Marshall Ferry Cemetery in Rising Sun, IL. Contributions can be made in Nancy's memory to the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Home, and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
